And for $10 she even delivered it to me, since I no longer know anyone with a truck here in Austin.

The blog ‘90DayJane’ (formerly at 90DayJane.com and 90dayjane.blogspot.com) debuted a couple weeks ago. The premise was that the author decided life is meaningless so she should just kill herself (see Myth of Sisyphus). Her blog was supposed to chronicle the 90 days leading up to her death.

I first came across the blog when she was on her second post. As soon as I saw the Digg widget on the side, I knew she was full of it. My friend and I discussed betting odds. $10 got him $30 if she turned out to be sincere.

And a few days later, she admitted it was actually an “art project” and took down the site.

I spent my $10 on a gallon of milk and a six pack of beer.
